Can You Stand The Rain arrives in Macon for a special evening of film, food, conversation, music and community celebration.
The award-winning ensemble drama follows seven lifelong friends who reunite after the sudden death of Shawn Xavier Brown, the celebrated children’s author and spiritual anchor of their group. As memories, laughter and long-suppressed truths emerge, they must confront abandoned dreams, fractured relationships, lost love and the compromises they made to survive.
